My 1997 Chevy S10 Pickup
I bought this truck after my
'94 S10 was hit while parked on the street. The guy's insurance
company "totalled" the truck and I found this "free upgrade." It's got the
4.3L Vortec motor and electronic controlled 4L60E tranny with push button
4WD. It also has a small suspension lift and a 2 inch body lift with
30x9.5x15 tires. It had about 130,000 miles on it when I bought it.
Since then I fixed some electrical issues, installed new ball joints, new
driver's door pins, cleaned it up a bit, added a Herculiner bed liner,
swapped wheels, and installed a new head unit. Just recently I
installed a new set of shocks and added a Powertrax locker in the rear.
