First a little about me....

Patrick Conrad

My name is Patrick Conrad.  I grew up in Enola, PA and I'm the oldest of 6 children (4 boys 2 girls).  I'm currently going to school in Hoboken, NJ at Stevens Institute of Technology where I recently completed my Bachelor's of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and am continuing to obtain my Master's in Systems Engineering.  I wrestled for four years as a varsity wrestler for Stevens at 141 pounds and participated in the Stevens Co-op Program.  For the past three years I've been working part time at Merck (formerly Schering-Plough) as a Project Engineer in Facilities Engineering.  I am now searching for a full time career opportunity to begin during the summer or fall of 2011.

My Car:  1993 Chevrolet Lumina Z34 - NOW FOR SALE!

I bought this car during the summer of 2004 before my senior year of high school.  It's got the 3.4L Twin DOHC V6 with a 5 speed Getrag 284 manual tranny.

Since I purchased it I've made modifications and repairs as I've had the time and money to do so.

My Motorcycle:  Custom Honda CBR600F2

(Yea, Same Bike) Custom tail fabrication and full powdercoating complete

I picked up this bike in Indiana in the summer of 2007 after my '90 Kawasaki Ninja ZX600R engine blew up.  The fully rebuilt engine had 500 miles on it and the bike itself had about 35,000 miles.  It came with a Pengal racing petcock, Vance and Hines slip on exhaust, K&N air filter, and rebuilt front and rear brake calipers. Recently, I completely disassembled and modified the bike.  Although it is now assembled and "on the road," I am still in the process of completing my full vision.  Many details inside.

My Two Stroke Dirt Toys: Two Suzuki LT250R Quadracers, 2001 Yamaha YZ250, and 1997 Honda CR125

My LT250R enthusiasm started in 2008 when I picked up an '86 project bike.  The motor had just been completed and I finished up the chassis and cosmetic work.

'92 LT250RCurrently, I have an '87 and a '92 which I am working on restoring.  The final product will be a near stock specification trail bike and a heavily modified restoration.  The trail bike will utilize the '87 chassis and '92 motor while the suped up resto will utilize the '92 chassis and '87 motor.  I chose this combo because '91 - '92 is considered the best chassis and '87 the best motor.

 2001 Yamaha YZ250 1997 Honda CR125

I've only recently gotten into riding motocross and now I wish I would have started earlier.  My YZ250 is my "MY" bike that I'm working on getting dialed in for my style and weight.  The CR125 is tons of fun to ride in stock form and is the bike I have my friends ride.
